GENERAL
  1. How can I purchase any of the products under GlobalStore?
  2. To make a purchase, you will need to sign up for a GlobalAccount. It is free. With the GlobalAccount, you will be able to purchase products and service plans.


    For new customers

    First, you need to sign up for a GlobalAccount.Thereafter, you will receive an email notification to activate your GlobalAccount. After account activation, you can log in and start purchasing our products and service plans.


    For existing customers

    You may obtain your gNum/ Exclusive CallBack numbers by sending an SMS or logging into your GlobalAccount to check them.

    To obtain gNum by SMS, send SMS: "get gNum" to our SMS number (+65 9111 6214). To obtain an Exclusive CallBack number by SMS, send SMS: "get cb" to our SMS number (+65 9111 6214). Our system will reply you with the respective gNum or Exclusive CallBack number.

  3. What is GlobalAccount?
  4. GlobalAccount is where you may manage your personal details, credit top-ups and check your account usage statements. Once logged in, you will see a welcome page indicating your credit balance, credit expiry, contact number, Exclusive Access Number (if any) and expiry date and gNum (if any) and expiry date. From here, you can update your details, purchase and top-up credits, view your account statement and obtain support information.

  5. Is there a monthly subscription fee for GlobalAccount? How much does it cost?
  6. There is no monthly fee for all GlobalAccount signups until 31 December 2008.

  7. Why will my credits expire?
  8. As our policy, all un-used purchased credits for 6 months (this does not include credits purchased during promotions) will expire and be no longer usable. You will then have to re-purchase credits at a later date when you want to use our services.

  9. What can I do to prevent my credits from expiring?
  10. It is very easy to prevent your credit from expiring. You simply have to visit the GlobalStore to do a top up and the expiry date of your credits will be extended another 6 months. Simply login to www.globalroam.com and login to your GlobalAccount to purchase more credits!

  11. Can I choose to purchase more credits at a later date?
  12. Yes, you are most welcome to do so. However, once the expiry date pass, your credits will expire and we will not be able to restore the cancelled credits back to your account. Therefore, it is best you top-up now and use your credit at a later date.

  13. How will my mobile usage be calculated and charged?
  14. All products under the WorldSuite are time-based service, which offers international roaming calls at lower rates. You will be charged based on airtime rates, which vary according to the origin and destination of calls. You will be charged by per minute block.

  15. How do I top up my credit for GlobalAccount?
  16. You can simply log in to your GlobalAccount and purchase credits.

  17. How can I add/ delete/ update the contacts in my phonebook?
  18. You are able to update the contacts on your phonebook by logging into your GlobalAccount. You may also SMS to update your contacts by following the SMS commands as below:

  19. How do I enquire more about GlobalAccount/ WorldSuite?
  20. You may contact our customer service at +65 6349 8520 from 9.30am to 6pm from Mondays to Fridays. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holiday. For e-mail support 24x7, pls email us at cs@globalroam.com.

  21. I do not have a caller-display number. Can I use WorldCallBack/ WorldRoam Lite?
  22. You will be able to by obtaining an Exclusive CallBack number.
